Specifications:
- Tilt Tension - Allows you to rock (back and forth movement) comfortably, without having to exert yourself by means of repeated heavy or forceful “pushing off” of the floor. Leg muscle fatigue is eliminated or greatly reduced, allowing for greater ease of enjoyment with your rocking chair
- Chair Tilt Lock – The ability to lock the chair’s tilt (angle adjustment function) setting into various set position(s) to accommodate your ideal working posture. Choose the seat angle that is most conducive to your comfort and productivity when seated for prolonged periods of time
- Seat Height – When seated, the distance between your knees and your feet resting on the ground creates an angle between your knees and your hips. This angle is determined by the height of the seat. The more extreme the angle, the greater the pressure under your thighs and accordingly blood flow is restricted. A properly adjusted or set seat height reduces this angle, easing blood flow.
- Seat Depth –The depth of the seat at which your buttocks rest when seated in your most common position. An ideal seat depth keeps your back in contact with the backrest and prevents the creation of pressure behind your knees
- Arm Height – The height at which the chair’s arm rests are located (if included –some chairs do not include arm rests). Optimum arm height is determined by the torso (hip to shoulder) and upper arm (elbow to shoulder) lengths of the individual, and the corresponding angle at which the forearm (elbow to wrist) lays on the arm rest. Optimum arm height reduces muscular effort in the neck and shoulders when working, minimizing the risk of lingering pain in those areas
- Waterfall Seat Edge – A steeply angled (close to 90 degree) seat front edge naturally increases the angle at which the lower legs descend to the ground from the knees. With consistent posture, this feature reduces pressure at the back of the knee, contributing to improved blood flow and long-term comfort.
- Contoured Cushions– Ergonomically “shaped” cushions on the seat and back of the chair provide efficient support to the body, effectively allowing you to sit longer without discomfort.
- Center-Tilt – A forward / backward tilt function from a pivot point under the center of the seat. Specific to body dimensions, particularly in the hips and related to the forward and back seat angles of the chair, the center-tilt function will enhance blood flow when set correctly.
